By the end of class students will be able to recompose a shot so that it has a clear Subject and Background as evidenced by writing 3 short paragraphs each about a different way to make the photo below have a clearer Subject and Background.
One way to improve the shot to make a obvious subject and background photo is to get a closer view. This can be done by either zooming in with your camera or moving closer to the subject being presented this will take the to people from the side out of the picture and clearly define a subject and background.
A second way you can make a clear subject and background shot is to change your point of view of the snowboarder, by either getting under the snowboarder to get a low point of view to create a clear subject or gaining a high point of view on top of the building to create another clearly defined subject.
A third way to create a clear subject and background photo adding a key item to help the subject stand out such as the subject wearing a bright color or even a dark color. Wearing a color that is bright or dark in this instant will help the subject stand out from the background.
