By the end of class students will be able to identify the three components of exposure as evidenced by giving a brief description of each.
By the end of class students will be able to identify the three components of exposure as evidenced by giving a brief description of each.
One component of exposure is shutter speed. Depending how long it stays open will influence how much light is let in. The longer it is left open the more light will be let in thus giving a higher exposure. Another component to exposure is aperture, this is in the camera lens. Aperture allows a certain amount of light to get in. The higher the number the smaller the hole. The small hole lets in less light while the bigger one lets in more. The last component is the digital piece ISO, his determines the sensitivity to the light coming in. It can be raised or lowered. The problem with being in a dark room is that the sensitivity will go up and the picture becomes grainy or noisy.
